‘…there’s something I want to say that’s always been very difficult for me to say. “I slit the sheet, the sheet I slit, and on the slitted sheet I sit.” There. I’ve never been relaxed enough around anyone to say that.’

OK, I was having a discussion with a friend of mine and I decided to define what eating times are which. I’m certain thousands of other people have already decided about these things, but since they haven’t informed me thus far, I decided to decide for myself . . . except I couldn’t quite decide on one time-frame.
This is what I have so far:
~11:00 P.M. ~4:00 A.M. = Midnight Snack
~4:00 A.M.~11:00 A.M. = Brunch
~11:00 A.M.~2:00 P.M. = Lunch
~2:00 P.M.~5:00 P.M. = Linner/Lupper
~5:00 P.M~8:00 P.M = Dinner/Supper
Here’s where I need some help:
~8:00 P.M~11:00 P.M.= ??????????????
So, what is it called between 8 and 11 pm?
I’d like to squeeze Brinner in there too, a word I think I thought up because I never heard of it before. But Brinner (and perhaps even Brupper) has to do with the content of the meal, not just the timeframe. Brinner: you know, like having scrambled eggs, pancakes, toast and bacon for Brinner/Brupper.
Of course this could mean that T-bone steak with a baked potato and green beens between 4 and 11 am would be Dinfast or Sukfast.

Not sure how much this applies but I have been thinking lately about those bands that I have always labeled for myself as bands that I dislike – toying with the idea of listing those bands for myself and experimenting with exploring their music more deeply and opening myself to them to see if there is anything that I am missing through my labeling. This may be a “someday/maybe” category – partially depending on if it gathers any steam on here!

2 things have occured to me and there is no time anymore to wait for the mainstream press to pick this up – so I will publish it here!
1) We have an inadvertant dog theme going with our avatars or 1A) – We have a dog theme going and I just realized it now.
2) You could trim trees to make the toothpicks and, thereby have a win/win situation as trimming would make the trees grow larger and stronger by pruining them and you could make toothpicks without cutting down trees. [[Quit Shaving and Help The Environment (?)]]

I know that there has been a time in my life that I needed to move to the center from all the weirdness – but DAMN I like this category! It makes me smile just to see it here!

So the Lions are 3-1 for the first quarter of the regular season.
Honestly, I did not expect that. If I had made a prediction it would have been that the Lions would be 1-3 right now.
I have been somewhat impressed, although I’m not sure I’m ready to jump on the bandwagon. I mean I always have been (as far back as I recall) a Detroit Lions fan, but I have learned throughout the years that the lower my expectations, the less my disappointment by the end of the season – heck, sometimes by the middle of the season.
The Lions are
1st in passing yards, 4th in scoring and 4th in overall offense. And on Sunday, September 30th, 2007, they broke the all-time record for scoring in the fourth quarter. Wow!
I certainly could not have predicted that.
